This program is an introductory course taught through interactive, hands-on labs, which cover the basics of electricity, lighting controls and dimming concepts, and stand-alone lighting control solutions using Sensor Switch® products. This course also covers basic networking topics, energy codes, wired and wireless technologies, and networked lighting control solutions using the nLight® platform.
Learning Objectives:
▶ Discuss basic electrical terminology, power distribution and common components in an electrical circuit
▶ Recognize common lighting control strategies and energy code requirements
▶ Describe different dimming technologies
▶ Describe basic programming procedures for stand-alone Sensor Switch solutions
▶ Define basic networking terminology
▶ Select appropriate nLight products for common applications
▶ Program locally networked nLight solutions
▶ Recall benefits of a networked lighting control solution
*All equipment for this course will be mailed to the student. These materials must be returned to the address provided within 10 business days following the conclusion of training. Course fee ($700) will be refunded once materials are returned in good working condition. Any materials not returned within the timeframe, or returned damaged, will result in no refund or a deduct of $700 on your commission statement (Agents only).
